BSc Physics Maths Computer Science

B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science

Duration

3-Year

Eligibility

Pass in XII with 50% marks with Physics, Maths and Computer Science as main subjects.

This is a program which provides students exposure to the critical domains of Science i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The first year module is a basic conceptualization of core concepts of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Environmental Science, Computers and Communication Skills mainly concentrating on the application oriented approach and development of problem solving skills in students.

The Lab courses in this program provide students hands on exposure to electronic components, instrumentation techniques, microprocessor technology and computer applications.

Mathematics focuses on the understanding and solving of numerical problems. Students are taught about the science of numbers, quantity, and space through algebra, calculus, geometry, differential equations, and real analysis. Skills like reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving are enhanced through this course.

The Physics course emphasizes the theory and practical aspects of the fundamentals of Physics and associated mathematical concepts. It covers subjects like matter, motion, speed and velocity, space and time, energy, pressure, and force, and the various theories and laws associated with them. Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the precise and pure measurements, diagrammatic illustration, and graphical representation to explain man-made and natural phenomena after successful completion of the course.

The Computer Science part includes the relevant studies related to the study of programming concepts and software and their applications. Candidates will be able to gain insights into the structure, function, mechanism, and algorithm that are responsible for the representation, storage, processing and communication, and access to digital information.
