Duration
3-Year
Students need to pass XII with minimum 50 % of marks with Mathematics as one of the main subjects from a recognized Board/University.
An important feature of this programme is the rigorous grounding in mathematics and statistics in your first year, along with a good foundation in economics.
The Economics module prepares students in domains like accounts, retail, sales, finance, and tax in the public, business, or industrial sector. Students are trained to analyze the ups and downs of the financial market, pursue independent research, use complex statistical data, contribute to social issues, and specialize in qualitative and quantitative research methods. The Mathematics module focuses on the understanding and solving of numerical problems. Candidates are taught about the science of numbers, quantity, and space through algebra, calculus, geometry, differential equations, and real analysis.
The Statistics module focuses on collection, organization, calculation, and interpretation of data. Candidates are taught about the principles and applications of Statistics, Probability, Graphical Analysis and Representation, Permutations, and Combination.
