Students need to pass XII with minimum 50% of marks in any Physics, Chemistry and Biology or relevant subjects from a recognized Board/University.
This 3-year degree course , mainly emphasizes on providing in-depth knowledge to students on assessing potential treatment and its effects on human beings. In other words Clinical Research is a study of healthcare science that deals with research carried out on humans for improving treatments, medications, devising new methods of diagnosis and increasing knowledge on various diseases and disorders. During the course students will be introduced to practical features of clinical trial and its management including designing the phases, implementation, planning, regulatory and procedural guidelines, data analysis, and ethical considerations. The course covers regular, theoretical and practical classes, along with timely tests, projects and assignments.

Students after completing B.Sc. in Clinical Research can work as Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Research Investigator, Study Coordinator, Data Manager / Biostatistician, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Clinical Trials Auditor, Clinical Project Manager, Clinical Research Manager, Business Development Manager, Drug Safety Associate, Medical Writer etc in Biotech Companies, Pharma Industries, Research Labs to name a few. Students who are interested in higher studies can pursue Master of Science in Clinical Research, Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research etc from colleges in India or abroad.
