A pass in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board/university.
This 3-year undergraduate course in Airlines and Airport Management primarily focuses on the day to day operations being carried out in an airport. The main aim of this discipline is to apply principles of management in order to solve problems arising in airport management. Air Traffic Management, HR Management, Passenger Management, Airport Security, Cargo Management, Baggage Management, Customer Service Management, Legal Aspects, Finance Management etc. Apart from this some of the other main topics the course curriculum includes are Airport safety, security, and technicalities, technical section, managing staff, cargo department and coordinating with them.
The syllabus covers both theoretical and practical aspects of airport management, the students are taught fundamentals of business administration such as business accounting, finance management in the first year. Aspirants will also have to undergo dissertation and mandatory internships in the final semester as part of the course curriculum.
