The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Shipping and logistics is an undergraduate programme designed for those who are seeking to prepare themselves for managerial responsibilities in the Ports, Shipping and logistics related areas.

Ports Management as a domain plays a vital role as a part of Shipping and Logistics. It is considered inclusive of variety of fields and responsibilities of which few relevant areas are Cargo Handling, Storage, Containerization, Logistics, and Stevedores. Port Handling and Logistics Services; Container Freight Handling; International Transportation and Logistics Management; Commercial Shipping and Logistics; Maritime Management; Ship Chandlers; Stevedoring; Cruise ship passenger management; Ship and Port Facility Security; Offshore Management. Logistics on the other hand includes the study of effective goods transport management from one place to another. Students also get to gain knowledge in topics like marketing management, supply management, inventory control, chain management, etc too as part of the course.

At the end of the course students are required to undergo internship in organizations in order to gain practical experience.
